The American Rose Center is transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland from the day after Thanksgiving until the weekend before Christmas.

Featuring thousands of twinkling lights, dozens of lighted displays, giant Christmas Cards to the Community, nightly entertainment, photos with Santa, and tons of fun for the whole family!

Finale Night & Candlelight Sing-A-Long - We will close our season with a candle-lit singalong of all your Christmas favorites: December 23rd, firework show sponsored by the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau.
Mardi Gras in Roseland: December 1st, 6:30PM, Royal Presentation & Free throws 7PM. Come meet the NWLA Mardi Gras Krewe's and their Kings, Queens, Dukes & Duchesses.
Princesses in Gardens: December 3rd, 10th and 17th come meet the Princesses at Klima Rose Hall.
First Responders & Medical Field Appreciation Night: December 1st, take $5 OFF with a valid ID
Active Military and Veterans Appreciation Night: December 15th, take $5 OFF with a valid ID
Postal Worker & Delivery Driver Appreciation Night: December 15th, all USPS, UPS, Fedex, and other mail delivery drivers will receive $5 OFF admission into the gardens with proof or ID.

CHRISTMAS IN ROSELAND 2023 CALENDAR
CHRISTMAS CARDS TO THE COMMUNITY
CCC art program began 31 years ago to create a unique opportunity for highlighting the creative talents of local school students. We give participating schools a 4′x8′ piece of plywood to make their masterpiece on. The cards are judged by area artists and business people. Awards are given to First, Second and Third places in Elementary, Middle and High School divisions. A Best of Show is also awarded.
Key Dates:
August 1: Distribution of entry packets to Bossier, Caddo and DeSoto schools.
August 31, 5 PM: Deadline for entries to qualify for FREE sheet of plywood. Caddo Parish School Board Warehouse picks up wood and delivers to participating schools.
September 5-8: Plywood available for pick up.
November 6-9: Caddo Parish School Board Warehouse picks up completed cards and delivers to ARC.
November 9, 5 PM: Drop off deadline. Cards received after this date are accepted, but not eligible for judging. Please drop off cards at Administration Building in back of American Rose Center. Please sign that you have dropped it off.
November 13-14: Card judging at the American Rose Center.
November 15: Card winners notified, invited to reception.
November 16: Card Winner Reception. Please RSVP by Nov. 16, 4 PM. Guests must RSVP to beth@rose.org
November 17: Card winners announced at www.christmasinroseland.org and via email to winners, press release to local and regional press outlets.
December 15: People’s Choice Winner announced at www.christmasinroseland.org and via email to winners, press release to local and regional press outlets.
January 3-12, 2024: Cards may be retrieved at the American Rose Center. Please sign that you have picked up your card. Cards not retrieved by 1/12/24 will be used for projects at ARC.
