Honey Perfume™
2004 AARS Winner

Class: Floribunda

Habit: The upright and well-branched plant grows to 3 ½ feet high and 2 ½ feet wide. Honey Perfume is best planted in groups, or used as a border.

Disease Resistance: Very good. Resistant to rust and powdery mildew.

Color: Honey Perfume produces blooms of apricot yellow.

Bloom: Pointed, shapely buds open to reveal beautiful, four-inch blooms with petal counts of 25 to 30. Honey Perfume’s dark green, glossy foliage accentuates its color.

Fragrance: Spicy

Hybridizer: Keith Zary hybridized Honey Perfume. Zary has created five past AARS winners including Gemini, Candelabra, Artistry, Timeless and Opening Night.

Parentage: A combination of AROfres and HARrooney.

Introducer: Honey Perfume is introduced by Jackson & Perkins Wholesale Inc.

Availability: Honey Perfume will be available online, through mail order catalogs and at garden centers, nurseries, home centers and mass merchandisers during the 2004 planting season.
