Plant a "fence."
Consider using roses as hedges. Hedges are perfect for defining spaces or separating garden areas. You and your neighbors will appreciate the beautiful boundary roses create.
Almost any floribunda or landscape shrub rose creates a suitable hedge or border. Set plants in a single row 24 inches apart. Or, for a thicker fence, plant a staggered double row with 24 to 36 inches between each plant and 18 inches between each row.
By planting climbing roses along existing fences, like the photo shows here, you can create a colorful "porthole" view of your garden.
