The Dr. Harold & Ida Hayden Garden of ‘Shreveport’ Roses sits just north of the Administration building and is named for the couple who helped bring the American Rose Society to the city in 1974.

These orange blend or salmon colored Grandiflora Roses are named for the City of Shreveport and can be found in plantings throughout the metropolitan area, many of them planted by the late Dr. Harold Hayden himself.

The Shreveport Rose Society sponsors this garden.
