The Kimbrew Shelter offers another shaded rest stop. This shelter features a sculpture of “Resting Youth,” donated by Jack Walter of Kimbrew-Walter Nursery in Grand Saline, Texas, and a large collection of Azaleas.

Just beyond the gazebo is the newest feature of the rose gardens, the white columns reminiscent of Tara that compose the Greater Atlanta Rose Society Garden. Moved from the site of the reflection pool and reconstructed in 2011, this garden will again be a popular wedding location, with plantings of the Eden Large Climbing Rose and its elegant pink blooms (coming soon, see photo).
